exhibitor banners at the International spring R&W show for the past 7
years.
Located 7 miles north of Concord, New Hampshire, on
the scenic Merrimack River, you will find Morrill
Farm Dairy. Morrill Farm was established in 1925 by
John Morrill, since then it's been passed down to his
son David Morrill, and then to his son Rob. Today you
will see four of the five generations of Morrills on
the farm.
Today we milk about 115 Holsteins and raise all
our own replacement heifers, bringing our total
animals to approximately 300 head. Along
with the cattle
we also raise approximately 700 acres of crops including:
corn for silage and high
moisture corn, grass for hay, alfalfa for hay and
haylage, and soybeans.
Today our RHA is 24,911M 912F and 791P. Somatic
cell count is 150,000.
